In the wake of a Hollywood Reporter exposé outlining his office's abusive work environment, film and theater producer Scott Rudin has largely stayed out of the public eye, including selling his apartment in The San Remo in an off-market deal and decamping to the West Village townhouse he bought from former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter. He and husband John Barlow listed the house for $26 million in April 2023, but the house's historic neighborhood and modern renovation have failed to move buyers: The most recent price reduction brings it down to $21,500,000.
