Over the past seven days, a total of 733 new condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouse listings have come on the market in Manhattan, northern Brooklyn, western Queens, and parts of the Bronx. The 194 new Manhattan condo listings came to a median price of $1,995,000, or $1,629 per square foot. Meanwhile, 315 new co-ops were listed in Manhattan and came to a median price of $991,250 (figures per CityRealty listings).
A recent report from Douglas Elliman found that contrary to fears that New York is dead, newly signed contracts for co-ops, condos, and one- to three-family homes have increased year over year for the third consecutive month in Manhattan and the eighth consecutive month in Brooklyn.
