Overview of Lincoln Terrace at 165 West 66th Street

Lincoln Terrace at 165 West 66th Street is a high-rise, post-war cooperative located on the Upper West Side at the corner of Amsterdam Avenue, a block north of Lincoln Center and Julliard High School. The building offers a full-time doorman, a live-in superintendent, an in-house fitness center, a children’s playroom, a laundry room, resident storage, bike parking and a garage with an entrance inside the building.

Lincoln Terrace sits within Lincoln Square, a vibrant and culture-filled neighborhood where Midtown meets the Upper West Side. The plaza and low-rise campus of the Fiorello H. Both Central Park and Riverside Park on the Hudson River sit within two standard city blocks. The elevator-accessible 66th Street-Lincoln Center/Broadway station of the 1 and 2 trains sits a block away and offers five-minute commute to central Midtown.

Carter’s Review

"This 20-story, white-brick apartment building was one of the first large residential projects to open at the time of the completion of the nearby Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.Built in 1964, the building's south façade is highlighted by a central bay of recessed balconies that serve several apartments on each floor. The 375 apartments were converted to cooperatives in 1984. Its location is wonderful as it is on a fairly quiet street but within short walking distances of wonderful shopping and entertainment. Amenities and staff at this pet-friendly, full-service luxury high-rise include a 24-hour doorman, garage with entrance inside the building, package room, storage room, bike room, playroom, laundry room, and gym."
