Celebrity Sin Moves In
APRIL 8, 2008
In a national survey conducted by ERA Real Estate, respondents named golfer Tiger Woods as the celebrity that they’d most like as a neighbor. On the other hand, boldfacers' bad behavior is something most New Yorkers barely notice. But you may want to keep an eye out for these celebs if you’re looking to your neighbors to set a good example for the kids.
It might be best to hustle the little ones past Courtney Love, who recently found a house in the West Village, Lindsay Lohan (The Atelier on West 42nd Street) and Natasha Lyonne (East 18th Street).
And if you’re not sure about the line between art and real life, you might want to keep your guard up on Sullivan Street between Houston Street and Bleecker Street, where Sopranos star James Gandolfini has reportedly been seen moving in. On Bleecker Street & 10th Street, avoid Andy Samberg (who seems like a nice guy, but watch out if he’s carrying a box) and circumvent Hudson Square at 505 Greenwich Street, where James Frey (famous for his fiction) has reportedly just bought a place. Another threat to our moral fiber looms on the horizon: Covetous Beatle-ex Heather Mills has been spotted prowling Manhattan real estate offices and flat-hunting in Greenwich Village.
