Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts provides over 10,000 members of the arts community with pro bono and low-cost legal services each year.
Teachers, Facilitators
The Door provides comprehensive development services like tutoring, facilitating, counseling and more to New York City’s at-risk youth from ages 12-21. Among other opportunities, they’re looking for academic tutors, GED tutors and college-preparatory workshop facilitators.
Gourmet Cooks, Nutritionists
The CookShop Program is seeking culinary and nutrition professionals and food enthusiasts for school-based nutrition education programs for kids and to teach adult participants how to purchase, store, cook and enjoy fresh vegetables in season.
Hedge Funders
Hedge Funds for Habitat-NYC is seeking supporters from hedge funds and private equity firms to build, advocate or donate to help working families in New York City achieve their dreams of home ownership.
