Midnight Highlights
APRIL 11, 2008
You desperately need a haircut but you’ll be working late again. Or you only get up the nerve for those cute new bangs after dinner and a few drinks. Red Market Salon in the meatpacking district could be just what you're looking for. Open 'til midnight Tuesday through Saturday, this pioneer late-night salon (there are now several in the city) was opened in 2004 by two former Frederic Fekkai stylists who saw a real market for the idea. The salon is a neighborhood fixture and offers creative cuts and color and complimentary wine in a spacious, clean 2,400 square foot loft.
