Josh Groban finds a popular Corner, Nicole Kidman’s piece of a Perry Street Meier masterpiece is for rent, Andre Balazs has his eye on the 
Chelsea.
Crooner Josh Groban was recently spotted investigating a $18,000 a month apartment at rental building The Corner at 200 West 72nd Street near his current place at the Time Warner Center. The apartment in question is a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 1,600 square foot unit with a 1,000-square-foot wraparound terrace, chef’s kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows and triple exposures. New York Rangers star Marian Gaborik was spotted checking out a spot at the Corner as well, two floors below (NY Post).
Hotelier-about-town Andre Balazs is rumored to have his eye on the Chelsea Hotel. The man behind the Standard hotel and others has made overtures to the famous bohemian shelter over the past few years, and it’s said he he’d like to add the celebrated arty icon to his Chelsea empire (NY Observer).
Nicole Kidman’s pricey Meier pad is available for rent (via Luxist). The actress and singer hubby Keith Urban’s 12th floor apartment in the Richard Meier-designed 176 Perry Street is currently being listed for $45,000 a month. The couple no longer lives in the building, having relocated to a $10 million penthouse at 200 11th Avenue, home of the famous “Sky Garage,” where they are reportedly movin’ on over to the $17 million penthouse next door to their current one. But if you decide to move in, your neighbors may include Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis, celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Hugh Jackman.
Executive Suite: Billionaire Charles Bronfman has reportedly sealed the deal on a co-op at 810 Fifth Avenue for $21 million (NY Post).
