The Big Apple Barbecue Block Party takes place each June in Madison Square Park and surrounding streets, offering some of America’s award-winning barbecue and Southern-inspired fare from the country’s top pitmasters; some of the country’s most innovative chefs share cooking tips and live performances happen onstage throughout the day.

Shakespeare in the Park–As You Like It
Continuing the tradition 50 years after the opening of Shakespeare in the Park's permanent home at the Delacorte Theater, As You Like It has everything fans adore about Shakespearean comedy. Free tickets for Shakespeare in the Park are distributed via the free lines at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park and via the virtual ticketing system.
