Cooper Hewitt Design Center: Target Design Kids Program
Target Stores and the Cooper Hewitt Design Center collaborate on this fun drop-in program for kids aged 2-5 to get little minds – and hands – engaged in design.

New York Historical Society: Beer Here
This exhibit surveys the history of the production and consumption of beer, ale and porter in NYC from the seventeenth century to the present.; lest you get thirsty from so much beer history, the exhibit concludes with a beer hall featuring a selection of favorite New York City and State artisanal beers on tap.

Weegee: Murder Is My Business
The renowned photographer’s most interesting work captured the underside of the gritty city, and this exhibition of rogues, perps and those who cuffed ‘em is no exception. This exhibition draws upon the extensive Weegee Archive at ICP and includes environmental recreations of Weegee's apartment and exhibitions.

Hudson Square Music and Wine Festival
This free summer neighborhood celebration of music, food, and wine happens every Tuesday evening through August 28 in the backyard of City Winery just west of SoHo and features an eclectic mix of musicians, food vendors, artists and full bar service.

Fifty Years of the New York Film Festival

Off the Island
Unicycle Festival, Governor’s Island
The most fun you can have on one wheel rolls into Governor’s Island for a day of friendly competition and a chance for unicycle enthusiasts to show off their quirkiness and ability not to fall over sideways. Great for the kids, too.
