Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival
Each year on Easter the best of the bonnets are showcased along Fifth Avenue as New Yorkers celebrate the holiday by roaming the streets in their most festive spring gear. The parade marches north on Fifth Avenue starting at 49th Street; the best place to watch is from the area around St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder, "Topsy-Turvy: A Camera Obscura Installation"
Kicking off the park’s spring programming, this new installation re-imagines one of the world’s oldest moving image devices, the camera obscura, as a life-sized structure. Visitors can enter the installation–it uses light to capture images of the surrounding Flatiron District–in real time, altering how visitors experience the park and the city’s urban landscape.
