Vote Early and Often!

OCTOBER 31, 2008

Ok, just kidding about the second. But you don't want to be like this girl, do you?

You'll find information on where to vote in your neighborhood here—or just enter your address in this handy Google map to find out all sorts of details about where, and when, you can vote.

Should you suddenly realize you'll be busy on November 4th, these detailed instructions include info on how to vote early in your state. 34 states allow early no-excuse voting–New Yorkers must provide an excuse to vote early (fortunately they always seem to have one). Typical excuses that allow for mail-in absentee or early voting at elections offices include documented required absence from the voting precinct or county on Election Day, or a personal or family medical emergency. More get-your-ducks-in-a-row info can be found here.

When all the levers have been pulled, sit back and watch the next chapter unfold with your fellow change-agents at A Red + Blue Election Night, with open bar specials, top-notch comedy from Eugene Mirman and sustenance from foodie-favorited Red Hook vendors in the elegant new Bell House—the space recently opened in an old 1920’s warehouse once used as a printing press—at Union Hall in Park Slope.
