The New York International Salsa Congress is a celebration of Latin dance, expression and cultural awareness. Each summer on Labor Day Weekend, thousands of Mambo/Salsa dancers and Latin music aficionados gather from around the world to teach, study, perform, collaborate, socialize, explore and dance.

Believer Music Issue Celebration
To celebrate this year’s Music Issue, McSweeney’s Believer magazine will host an evening of music and conversation with some of today’s most exciting contemporary composers, including Nadia Sirota, Ted Hearne and Philip White. Come for live music, lively conversation and a good cause: Proceeds benefit 826NYC, a non-profit writing lab and tutoring center for kids aged 6-18.
